XP1 Vet Champs and Bumps 2010

XP1 had some enjoyable racing in June and July...here are some highlights...

We became Vet B National Champions...

Margaret McCarthy, Andrew Goyder, Alan Martin, Bryan Dean, Ian Munro, Edmund Lowson, Ed Godfrey, Joe Oldak, Nathan Wrench

Five of us were quite pleased with 3rd at Nat Vets in a tight VETC4+ event

Margaret McCarthy, Andrew Goyder, Alan Martin, Edmund Lowson, Roy Cooper

We lost at Henley Vets...

Isa Dowbiggin, Bryan Dean, Alan Martin, Edmund Lowson, Joe Oldak

This race was very tight until our opposition, some Henley medallists and an Olympian, decided to charge in the last 200m. We enjoyed the weather!

XP1 were the Fastest Boat in the CRA timed race... http://www.cra-online.net/results/2010/timed_race.htm

An in Cambridge Town Bumps, we rowed Over and Over and Over and Over, starting and finishing at 5th on the river.

Rowing over four times is a bit like rowing uphill...

Isa Dowbiggin, Andrew Goyder, Alan Martin, Ian Munro, Ed Godfrey, Phill Hall, Nathan Wrench, Bryan Dean, Joe Oldak.

Results can be found here:  http://www.cra-online.net/bumps/results/2010/index.htm
